Colby Keefe is an associate attorney with McCabe & Ronsman on the community association team. Ms. Keefe received her Bachelor of Arts in political science from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida and earned her Juris Doctor degree from University of Georgia School of Law in 2016. While a student at Georgia Law, Ms. Keefe served as a Notes Editor on the Journal of Intellectual Property. Ms. Keefe was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2016.
Ms. Keefe is the past president of the St. Johns Association for Women Lawyers (“St. JAWL”). In this role, she taught continuing education courses for attorneys on various topics, including the role of women in politics and the political ambition gender gap. She was recognized by the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (“FAWL”) as a 2020 Leader in the Law, and has been published in the FAWL Journal for her discussion of the political ambition gender gap and the use campaign finances on childcare expenses incurred by candidates. Additionally, Ms. Keefe is an advisory committee member of the St. Johns County Take Stock in Children Scholarship Program and volunteers for the St. Johns County Legal Aid pro bono clinic.
